About Our Father's Business
What is life? Do you have a passion to fulfill the purpose that God put you on this planet for? Do you know what it is? Do you ever ask the Lord to show you what it is?
In Exodus 7 we see that Moses was given the task of going before Pharaoh to petition for the Israelites to be let go. This was his purpose.
Jesus gave us a clear, solid place to start that will shake us loose from just falling into the world's version of success. He said, "But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." -Matthew 6:20-21
Material things get broken, go out of style or get lost. Experiences come to an end. It's people who are important. Jesus invested in people. Our greatest purpose is to love God and love people. That's true living.
"We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." -Winston Churchill
Live it out!
As Jesus said, "Why were you searching for me?" he asked. "Didn't you know I had to be in my Father's house?" -Luke 2:49 Let's be about our Father's business!
