Psalm 78

I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things from of old - things we have heard and known, things our ancestors have told us. We will not hide them from their descendants ; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders He has done. He decreed statues for Jacob and established law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands. -Psalm 781:7

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth. 3 John 1:4

"Parents cannot force their children to walk with God, but they can model godliness and cultivate a climate in the home that creates an appetite for god and is conducive to the spiritual nurture and growth of their children."

"Parents have enormous influence in molding the lives of their children by their example, their teaching, and their leadership."

"Each generation is responsible to pass on to the next the heritage of a heart that knows and walks with God."

"Parents will give account to God for the spiritual condition of their care."

"Each individual is responsible for his own walk and obedience. Regardless of what kind of parents he had, each person will give account to God for his own choices."
