A Living Legacy

The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children after them. -Proverbs 20:7

Integrity means completeness, rightness, and uprightness. This is living right with God and right with man. . . Those around us are blessed by a life that is a blessing. . . Do you ever think, "What is my legacy?" When you leave a room, a job or eventually this earthly life, what effect will you leave behind? Will others remember unselfish acts of thoughtfulness and service? Will they remember that they saw Jesus in you?

But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ's triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere. -2 Corinthians 2:14

Lord, I have a Bible, but do the words on the pages truly live in my life? . . . Today may my life reflect yours.

Fuel Up with the Holy Spirit

 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” John 14:26 Once we decide to get on the road with Jesus, we discover that the Bible is like a road map for our journey; helping us to live in a way that pleases God. If we spend time in the Word everyday, we will grow to be more like Jesus. A car needs gasoline in order to work. In order for you to keep going, you have to fill the tank up. Well, just like our physical bodies need food for energy, and cars need gasoline in order to go, our spiritual bodies need a kind of fuel too. This "fuel" is the Holy Spirit. A Clamorous Woman

To be clamorous is to murmur, growl, roar, rage, to be troubled, in an uproar, in a stir, a commotion, boisterous, turbulent, raging. Here is a big clue for us.
